Viewing information about sources

You can view the information about each source in the Sources panel.

To access the Sources panel, in the navigation pane, click Sources Sources.
Source information Description

Name

 The name of the source.
Type The type of source—AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or specific SaaS instance types (for example, Atlassian Jira Software).
Status

Shows the status of the source:

  • (Active): The source has been added successfully.

  • (Suspended, or for SaaS instances Validation state: Reauthentication needed): By hovering over the icon, you can see the details of the warning.

  • (Preparing, or for SaaS instances Validation state: Partially valid): By hovering over the icon, you can see the details of the warning.

Important  If the validation state of a SaaS instance is Reauthentication needed or Partially valid, this means that renewing consent is required. You can renew consent by editing the application credentials of the SaaS instance in the Sources panel. For instructions, see Adding a SaaS instance.
Entities The number of entities in the source.
Protected entities The number and percentage of protected and unprotected entities that belong to the source.
For SaaS instances: Version

The version of the R-Cloud module.

Note  The Version column is not visible in the table by default. You can make it visible by using the More icon. For instructions on how to do this, see Sorting data in panels.
